The National Institutes of Health have gone back on their promise to retire all federally owned and supported chimpanzees to sanctuary.

The NIH has announced they will not transfer 44 chimpanzees housed at the Alamogordo Primate Research Facility to sanctuary.

After all the pain and suffering these chimpanzees have endured, they deserve to live out their lives in sanctuary.

Please send your message urging NIH to hold a truly independent, non-biased panel of chimpanzee experts and ethicists to review their decision to keep all of the 44 chimpanzees at the Alamogordo Research Facility instead of sending them to sanctuary as promised.
